IV Congress of International Legal Practice

Susana Diez has recently returned from a few days in Murcia at the IV Congress of International Legal Practice which was organised by the Bar Association of Murcia.

The focus of the conference was current European Legislation, new regulations specifically about Family and Property Law and the effects of Brexit.

Whilst Susana can help with all aspects of Spanish law; an update on the Spanish property process for both purchase and sales, covering the legal, notarial and fiscal aspects was of particular interest. She also found the sessions on International Children Abduction: 1980 – 2017 with Mrs. Carolina Marín Pedreño and International divorce with Mr. Javier Carrascosa González vary valuable.

Susana said; “It was a really valuable few days because it ensures I stay completely up to date with changes in Spanish law and enables me to make contact with abogados across Spain which is always useful as I have clients from all parts of the UK and Spain”
