Following on from their recent win at the Herts Business Awards, Labrums Solicitors were invited on to Radio Verulam to talk about how they have embraced digital technology.

Labrums, based in St Albans, have had an incredible year – winning four awards for their digital approach to business in a sector traditionally seen as old fashioned.

The law firm, which also celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, has been leading the way in

terms of its approach, and even operates a paperless office.

On Thursday, Teresa Crowley, Practice Manager, represented the firm on Radio Verulam when she spoke to show host Nick Hazell.

Speaking about her radio debut, Teresa said: “I was very excited and proud to be able to speak about Labrums, our team and our recent achievements.

“I felt a bit nervous but Nick made me feel very relaxed and assured me he wasn’t like Jeremy Paxman!

“Once I got going I could have talked for a lot longer, there is lots to say about what we do, how we do it and how we have changed.”

Back at the office, all the staff listened to the show and were excited to hear their colleague on the radio.

Meanwhile, in the North of England, +24 Marketing, who have helped Labrums with their digital services, were all listening to the show online.

Teresa added: “It was a great opportunity to be live on a radio show and further raise our profile locally.

“We are a growing business so hope the interview will lead to us helping more clients and making the most of further opportunities with Radio Verulam.”

Nick Hazell, host of the show, said: “It was great to hear from a local business that is really setting the pace on use of technology in all aspects of its business.

“Perhaps quite unexpected in this market sector, but a well deserved award.”
