Susana Diez is the latest face to join the Labrum’s team.

Susana is a Spanish solicitor who qualified in 1985 from Deusto University in Spain.

She is a member of the Bilbao Bar, and has been a Registered European Lawyer with the Law Society since 1997.

During her first post graduate years in Spain, she worked as a solicitor and a tax adviser for small companies and private individuals.

Susana moved to England in

1990 and in 1994 she obtained a Diploma in International and Corporative Business Law from the London Metropolitan University.

She has worked in collaboration with many solicitors in the UK and in Spain to conclude the estates of the English deceased with assets in Spain, as well as working closely with the Spanish Consulate in London.

For the last 18 years, she has worked in a number of high profile law firms in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

Continuing her professional training, Susana obtained a diploma in International Inheritance Law in 2014.

Susana said: “I have conveyancing experience as a property Spanish lawyer in both residential and commercial property, including purchases of business, company formations and administering Spanish Limited Companies.”

Other areas of expertise include wills, tax planning advice, corporate law, powers of attorney, tenancy agreements, timeshare contracts, insolvency matters, and accident claims.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She also enjoys reading, politics, pilates and travelling.

For the last three years she has supported the charity PetSavers and in April 2015 she took part in the PetSavers Charity Abseil and came down the roof of the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Birmingham!

She has brought her wealth of knowledge to Labrum’s and will be to providing independent, impartial advice and assistance in all aspects of Spanish Law.
